This was our last attempt at cleaning our couch before spending hundreds on a professional cleaning service. Our couch became horribly stained in the two years since our child was born and other attempts to clean it with our green machine resulted in even worse staining and water marks (first photo). We followed the instructions and watched the instruction videos first to ensure proper result. All the first photos are our before and the last two are the end results after using the whole system. I’m so happy we have a clean couch again! We did need to use the spot and stain remover on the chaise to get it clean and took a couple passes of that but so happy with the results! I bought the starter kit and it arrived yesterday. I first cleaned two off white chairs that I was planning to recover with new fabric - not now! They look amazing. Then I moved on to my sofa. I love the GMK! It saved me SO much time cleaning the whole sectional. My couch looks brand new again! I might get some judgment for how dirty these dining room chairs got from my littles, but for all the parents out there looking for a miracle cleaner - this stuff is legit!! I’ve had this silk rug professionally cleaned annually and have never been able to achieve the original gray color. So impressed and honestly in disbelief about the results. I wonder if you could come up with a mop version of your green mitt for large projects like this one.
First off, just let me say WOW! I am so impressed by this product. My children have done a number on these kitchen dining chairs and I thought nothing could get the stains out. This works as promised!! I rated the kit four stars only because my expectation was perfection and two things stood out to me. First of all, it’s sort of a messy process. For some reason, I thought it was spray and wipe but it’s spray, wait, soak mit in a bowl, wipe, repeat, dry. Not a huge deal but a little more work and mess than I expected. Second, the green mit sheds. It leaves little green things here and there as it cleans. This made me nervous but it was fine in the end. I just had to lint roll the couch after it dried. They said, it does indeed clean. The couch looks a lot better than it did.
I had no idea the sort that was hiding in my soft surfaces. Every time I wrung out the mitt I was in disbelief as none of the surfaces looked dirty! Cleaning with the Green Mitt will now be something I do regularly.

Your product worked very well on my oriental rugs. They both look refreshed, fluffed up nap, colors vibrant again, and doing just those two on the floor saved me considerable time and money. The photo is the cleaned rug after drying.
The chair is the before photo only. The cleaning on it specified S, which would not be suitable for a water cleaning agent, but since it’s 30 yrs old, and I hate solvents, I tried your product anyway. The rinse water was only slightly discolored even though I did the entire cushion and back. Not much change , but no damage either. The chair isn’t soft fabric, but typical upholstery fabric. I tend to try with my other area rugs. Those alone are worth the expense of the kit.

Regular microfiber vs. Green Mitt Split-Technology Microfiber
Not all microfiber is created equal. As a general rule, the finer the microfiber thread, the more absorbent it will be. Most microfibers are roughly 1/100the thickness of a human hair! The Green Mitt fibers are manufactured to an ultra-fine 1/200 thickness of a human hair, then split, creating a filament with wedges and sharp edges that increase their efficiency at trapping fine particles.

For most fabrics, it’s recommended to use a low-moisture, water-based cleaning method like the Green Mitt Kit. We designed it to work without harsh chemicals or detergents with a neutral pH that stabilizes dyes and helps prevent color bleeding. However, because ‘Dry Clean Only’ fabrics can react unpredictably to any moisture, we always recommend performing a spot test in an inconspicuous area first.
